Welcome

Welcome to our site operated by the National Judicial Council (NJC). This site was created so that those interested in the activities of NJC have access to information and news about it quickly and directly from the source. NJC is the supervising body of the central administration of courts. It embodies judicial self-management and self-regulation in the Hungarian jurisdiction, thus, it is the highest level public body of the judiciary, a branch of power independent from the executive and legislative powers.

We believe and we work for that efficient checks and balances are and will be able to guarantee that accountable branches of power mutually respect the independence of each other, and that judges can perform judicial activities impartially and objectively and on a highly professional level, perform judiciary activities effectively and in time, ensuring fair trials and equality before the law.
